Hoops Factory is a FREE basketball development program for boys and girls in grades K - 4. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate - whether they are picking up a basketball for the first time, learning the fundamentals, building their skills, or already playing on a traveling team.

Our goal is to develop fundamental basketball skills, improve court awareness, and inspire a lifelong love of the game in a fun, positive, and encouraging environment.

Who: Boys and girls in grades K - 4. No basketball experience is necessary!

What: Approximately 7 - 8 sessions throughout the basketball season.

• Skill development, games, and fun activities
• Special opportunities to interact with Hastings varsity basketball players
• No attendance commitment required - families are welcome to attend as many sessions as their schedules allow

When: November through February

Hoops & Scoops

• Sat 7/18: 10-11am @ Pioneer Park (ice-cream treat for all participants)
• Sun 8/16: 5-6pm @ Pioneer Park (ice-cream treat for all participants)

Hoops Factory Clinics

• Tues 9/15: 6-7pm @ HMS
• Wed 9/16: 6-7pm @ HMS
• Future dates TBD.

Where: Sessions will be held at Hastings High School, Hastings Middle School, McAuliffe Elementary School, or Pioneer Park. Specific dates, times, and locations will be announced closer to the start of the basketball season.

Cost: FREE! Hoops Factory is proudly funded by the Hastings Basketball Boosters.

As an added bonus, Hoops Factory participants receive free admission to all Hastings varsity basketball home games when accompanied by a paid adult chaperone.
